Colonel Mirza Momin Baig (Retd.) is a highly respected social worker and seasoned security and administration professional, bringing over three decades of meritorious service in the Pakistan Army, Police, intelligence, and major national and international organizations. As KPK President of the Ali Orphans Foundation, he is committed to serving humanity, particularly vulnerable and underprivileged communities, with discipline, integrity, and compassion.
He served 24 years as a commissioned officer in the Pakistan Army, including 16 years in the Special Services Group (SSG) and 6 years in Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI). Post-retirement, he held senior leadership roles in KPK Police as Commandant Elite Police Training Centre and SSP/DIG in CTD, where he trained over 6,000 elite force personnel and established the Elite Police Training Centre Nowshera from scratch.
Colonel Baig has extensive experience as Director/Head of Security at Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT), HUBCO/CPHGC (China Power), and is currently serving as Security Head at Cnergyico Pak Limited, managing complex security operations for thousands of employees and Chinese expatriates, sensitive installations, offshore facilities, and high-risk environments.
His core strengths include leadership, administration, human resource management, policy formulation (SOPs), crisis management, VVIP security, counter-terrorism operations, and institutional capacity building. He has commanded battalions in operational areas including Azad Kashmir and South Waziristan, and maintained close coordination with civil administration and law-enforcement agencies at federal and provincial levels.
