Urooj Fatima is a dedicated social worker and education professional serving as the Vice President (Province Punjab) of the Ali Orphans Foundation. With decades of involvement in the social sector, she brings strong leadership, compassion, and technical expertise to advance the Foundation’s mission of supporting orphans and underprivileged communities through education, health, and social development initiatives.
She holds a Master of Science in Computer Science (M.Sc CS) from the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (B.Sc CS) from GC University Faisalabad, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed.). Her strong academic background is complemented by extensive professional training in teaching methodologies, mental health, project management, and digital innovation.
Urooj Fatima has over six years of teaching experience, including five years at The City School (Computing/ICT & Islamiyat) and one year at LACAS Lahore as a Computer Teacher. She is a certified Microsoft Innovative Educator Trainer (MIE Trainer) and Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert (MIEE 2021–22), actively engaged in Microsoft Educator Center trainings and live events.
Her technical and professional expertise includes coding and programming, robotics, website and mobile app development, Python, HTML/CSS, database management, Microsoft Visual Studio, and advanced Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. She also specializes in e-poster and brochure design, media coordination, video creation/editing, and the use of Office 365 and MS Teams as a Learning Management System (LMS).
In the social development sector, she has served as a Social Welfare Worker with KASHF Foundation and IBKA NGO (Faisalabad), where she conducted community surveys, data collection, awareness sessions, workshops, and coordinated blood donation activities. Since 2022, she has also been serving as Women President in JDBT, Jhang, further demonstrating her leadership in community mobilization.
Urooj Fatima is trained in First Aid, Mental Health Support, INSET (Effective Teaching & Lesson Planning), AFL (Innovative Strategies), and APTIS (English Proficiency). She is highly motivated, adaptable, and willing to work in field environments and travel as required for project implementation.
Driven by a strong commitment to humanitarian service, she is passionate about contributing to NGO initiatives focused on education, health, community development, volunteer coordination, awareness campaigns, report writing, and data-driven decision making.
